Flamefix Outdoor is a fire-resistant material that allows wood to be used outside without a coating and complies with fire class B. Flamefix Outdoor is fixed in the wood and does not leach out. This means that wind and weather have no influence on the fire-retardant properties of the product. That is why it is also ideal for situations where maintenance is difficult.
But Flamefix Outdoor does more... it extends the lifespan of the wood, the wood becomes harder, more water-repellent and less susceptible to fungal attack.
Flamefix Indoor makes wood 100% biologically fireproof and complies with fire class B. Flamefix Indoor can be used indoors and outdoors. However, when used outside, the wood will need to be treated with a protective coating to prevent leaching. A maintenance schedule will be required.
