In this project, thermally modified spruce receives not only an aesthetic but also a functional upgrade thanks to the application of Flamefix. The wood has been partially treated with Flamefix Outdoor, achieving fire class B without compromising on appearance or detailing. The thermally modified spruce is finished with Woodcream, color Solva. The fire-retardant treatment is subtly integrated into the overall design, preserving the natural character of the wood while significantly increasing safety. Flamefix has also been applied to the refined facade elements and the custom-made laminated spruce (58×58 mm). This ensures that not only the large surfaces but also the detailing contribute to a fire-safe overall concept.
